Our journey into the world of snakes may seem unconventional, but we all share a deep love for these incredible creatures.

Let's start with Kurt, pictured on the left. Despite his upbringing as a farm boy and subsequent career as a manufacturing CEO, Kurt wholeheartedly supported my dream of building a business around snakes, no matter how unconventional it sounded.

Kurt's business acumen and expertise serve as the driving force behind our program.

As for me, Stacie, snakes have been a lifelong passion. What started as innocent playdates with garter snakes during summers developed into a full-fledged obsession.

I spend eight hours a day as the primary caretaker, tending to all the snakes in our dedicated snake room. From purchasing and raising them to marketing our business, I handle all aspects of day-to-day operations.

Then there's Tristin, my son, who found his own love for snakes along the way. Starting with California king snakes and even a backyard garter snake, his enthusiasm only grew. Our house was never short of loose snakes when he was younger.

Tristin now takes charge of cleanup duties and educating others about garter snake habitats. He has a natural talent for coaxing stubborn eaters to thrive and take their food, earning him the nickname "the snake whisperer."

Next, we have Brittney, Tristin's better half. Unlike the rest of us, she initially harbored a fear of snakes. However, her love for Tristin led her to tolerate them. Little did she know that Tristin's first gravid garter snake would change everything. Witnessing the beauty and wonder of snake reproduction opened Brittney's eyes to a side of snakes few get to experience. She has become an loving fan and now contributes her artistic talents to the Gravid Garters brand.

Together, as the Gravid Garter family, we strive to share our passion and unique perspective on snakes with the world.
